Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit (AREU) is an autonomous research organization that's dedicated to fostering informed policymaking and public discourse in Afghanistan. Their work mainly relies on different cultural, social, economic, and political issues surrounding or affecting Afghanistan's development. Since they produce a large amount of content based on governance, security, natural resource management, and rural development, a strong CMS-based website solution was the only thing missing from their offerings. Their previous website lacked some modern delivery and reflection of their research materials whilst also capturing the essence of the country, and that's where we stepped in.

Client’s Requirements And Our Solution

The Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit (AREU) facilitates promoting research and policy information throughout the country. AREU approached iMOBDEV technologies with a requirement for a website that needed an upgrade from its existing state. It lacked an extensive showcase of their research materials, current projects, and previous publications. The goal was to create an intuitive and accessible platform for policymakers, researchers, and the public, that would serve as an information architecture on Afghanistan. Our team of web developers organized every research content into a navigable structure and also added multilingual support. The search button enabled accurate research while its WCAG compliance made the website accessible for people with disabilities. This CMS has also enhanced their mobile responsiveness whilst ensuring seamless cross-device functionality.
